Code, Team Spirit, and Gaming: Our Experience at Future Day 2026
A Day Dedicated to Agility: From Plan to Finished Project
Instead of just talking about theory, we dove right into practice. Our goal: to show the young people that IT isn’t just solitary “hacking” in a dark little room, but teamwork at the highest level.
The Cloudogu Sprint Based on the Scrum methodology, we organized the day as a real “mini-sprint.” The participants learned how to define requirements, distribute tasks within the team, and organize themselves through daily stand-ups (Dailies). It was impressive to see how quickly the group grew together as a team.
Creativity at the Keyboard Game development with Scratch was once again the focus this year. However, the young people didn’t just develop games—they acted as game designers. They created catch-and-run games with complex logic, time limits, and creative power-ups. In the process, they playfully learned the basics of the logic behind all modern software.
Why We Support the Next Generation
For us at Cloudogu, the Future Day is more than just a tradition. In a world rapidly changing through digitalization, we want to provide guidance. We want to show that IT is a place for creative minds, for strategists, and for people who love solving problems. Your path, your choice
A key topic during the break discussions was career entry options. Whether it’s an apprenticeship as an IT specialist or a dual degree program—we made it clear that there is no “right” or “wrong” path on a resume. Diversity in people’s backgrounds is exactly what makes our teams so strong.
Conclusion: The future looks bright!
We’re thrilled by the energy and curiosity the students brought with them today. If this enthusiasm for technology lasts, we have no worries about the digital future.
A big thank you to all participants for your great questions and the fantastic games you developed!
