About this event

Increasing requirements, faster development cycles and more agility are just a few keywords that are becoming more and more important in current software development. Low-code application development thus plays an increasingly important role in meeting all these challenges. Low-code platforms such as Oracle Application Express (APEX) offer a wide range of people the opportunity to participate in software development, both in small companies, where only few IT resources are available, as well as in large corporations in various industries.

But what exactly is "low-code"? How do low-code platforms work (using Oracle APEX as an example) and how exactly does the development of an application work without writing pages of code?

We'd like to talk about all of that in this keynote. We will start with an introduction to the world of low-code development in general and then in detail with the presentation of Oracle APEX, Oracle's market-leading low-code platform. Finally, there will be a live demo where we will show how to create a first small reporting solution without much effort and in a very short time.

In the process, the following questions, among others, are answered

  • What is low code?
  • How do low-code platforms work?
  • How does software development with low code work?

  • Internet capable computer (preferably Windows)
